hi
I’m challenging you today to test your Gravity Fitness!
According to the American Heart Association adults need to exercise at moderate intensity levels 30 min 5 times a week (or a total of 150 min per week) to improve overall cardiovascular health. I’m here to tell you that’s all good but not nearly enough. If you want to live a long and functional life, you’ve got to move your body constantly against gravity.
In today’s video I’m introducing you to the concept of gravity fitness and I invite you to:
- test you gravity fitness,
- to do an inventory of how often you interrupt prolong sitting or prolong standing (stillness)
- to change the way you look at physical exercise or movement and
- to start using a timer and every 20 min move your body against gravity (e.g do 1 or 2 squats)
Remember there is a big difference between planed exercise (which is great and highly recommended) and habitual movements or as I like to call it functional movements.
Please do not watch the video below if you’re not ready for a reality check. This is not for you if you think that being in the gym 30 min or even 1 hour 5 times a week or even every day is enough to keep you strong, healthy, lean and functional.
If you want to bring your health and fitness to a whole new level, then click on the video below and let’s have some fun together.
The table below is an extract from the book I was talking about in the video and I highly encourage you to read.
