hi

Two Kitchen Tools You Must Have!
It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. I’m finally coming out of hibernation. Uh those were 5 long cold months (for me anyway), that put me in a nice hibernation mode.
The bad thing is that you felt abandoned:(
The good thing is that I’ve rested and I’m now fresh and ready to take the world up on my shoulders and do my part to make it a better place to live in. YAY it’s a good feeling!
Now let’s get to the needy greedy of today’s topic.
Do you know what the first thing you need to do before starting any nutrition or dietary change is?
You need to get your kitchen ready. I mean you need to have few kitchen tools that will support your effort of prepping and cooking foods in your own kitchen. Today we are talking about two kitchen tools.
So I was flipping through the coupon book I got in the mail from Costco and guess what, they have some great discounts on two of my favorite kitchen appliances. You need to check this out so don’t stop reading. Here they are:
#1. The NutriBulet. I absolutely love it, easy to use, easy to portion control your green blasts, comes with several BPA free containers so you can just make your favorite shake, grab it and go on with your happy self. It also comes with a recipe book. Priceless my friend.
Discount: $12.
Go get it, you’ll thank me later. It’s almost summer time, that means you need more fresh raw vegetables and fruit to keep your “hot” body nice and cool and well hydrated. The easiest way to do that is making green blasts/shakes.
#2. Cuisinart food processor (11 cup work bowl)-this is a must have if you want to save time chopping vegetables (e.g. comes super handy if you make your own sauerkraut), or make those delicious grain free baked goods, and so much more.
(Don’t know how to make those no worries I can help you with that. Just shout out loud and I’ll put you in a cooking class).
Discount: $40. That’s a pretty damn good deal.
You can get those from the local Costo store as well as on their site: costo.com This offer expires on 5/3/15 {I’m not getting paid by Costco to write this:-)}
Aren’t you glad I’m back out of hibernation, and full of energy?
Put a comment below and let me know what’s you’re favorite kitchen equipment. I’d love to know. And don’t forget to share this post with your friends.
Mihaela
I have been lusting after a bullet for some time now…time to bite the bullet LOL. Love this post 🙂
That’s it Bushra. Go for it! Do they sell those where you live?
I love my Vitamix!!! Glad you are back to feeling full of energy!
Lana I do love my Vita Mix too, but the bullet comes handy when I just want to make a single serving of a green blast. In the VM I always make more than I can have at one time, and it just loses its nutritional value:( if I store it for later.
Twelve bucks for a Nutru-Bullet? I’m in! Thanks for the tip.
Marnie, It’s actually $12 off the full price . (Sorry for the confusion). Still a great price for the product. You gonna love it.
Mihaela thank you for such a great article. I’ve been using my Magic Bullet for years and it’s time to upgrade!
Kimberly I’m glad you find it useful. An upgrade to the Nutri-Bullet it’s a must:) You gonna be happy you did it!
I have a Ninja. How does it compare to the Bullet?
Hi Bettelou, great question. The bullet is much smaller and less expansive. It has a different mechanism (the blades are in the lid). Easy to make one or two servings of shakes. I hope this helps.
Thank you so much for the information!
You’re so very welcome.
My problem is that I buy things and they end up sitting in the close. I don’t have enough space in my kitchen to leave them out and it’s such a pain to move them all around!
I love this Kelly, you know why? Because you’re not alone. This is how I do it. The equipment I use daily (e.g the bullet, the water kettle) I keep them on the counter so it saves me time, those that I use once or twice a week (e.g. food processor) I keep it in the closet and take it out only when I need to use it. What you find yourself not using you can donate or sell on Craig list and free up space for those you actually use. A clean and organized environment gives you a clear mind and will help you make better decisions and of course awesome food choices:)
Thanks for this info! I really need to get back on my green smoothies. I could feel the healthy benefits. Currently I use a blender and that’s fine, but I’ve had my eye on a Bullet or Ninja.
Hey Valri if you want to start adding green blasts to your daily meals I highly recommend going with the nutri bullet. Super user friendly, and the book it comes with has great recipes.
We live in Portugal, Any ideas for equipment
